After Disneyland Andrew was violently ill, all night. Marilyn is so glad she is remodeling her bathroom completely in the next few weeks. That carpet HAS GOT TO GO! We spent Friday recovering from the night of h@##. Saturday morning we worked on the Science Project that is due this week. Barrett kept saying that it would only take an hour and we had all sorts of plans of what we could do with the rest of the day. (So Sorry Larry, Karen, Cade and Carson) It did NOT take only an hour but MOST of the day. It did turn out awesome and was turned in this morning - YIPEE!!
We did the Mentos Diet Coke - Soda Geyser. We also tried different candies with different sodas. Bruce, Barrett and Brittney got WAY into it.

Here is a video of the final eruption. Full tube of Mentos and Diet Coke. It is hard to see, but it goes way past the top of the ladder. A surprise finding is that Sweettarts work just as well as Mentos, if not better.

Love that idea! That looks very involved. We've never had to do one yet. I may have to keep this in mind when we do.
