Every four year old should start their roller coaster carrer with a little
"Space Mountain".
This was also Brittney and Caitlyn's first times on the ride. We waited in a rather long line on a very crowded, hot, Spring Break day and started with a little attitude from our oldest. I don't know if she wanted me to personally take out all the teeneagers in line one by one,
but I thought I was gonna have to kill her!
They are getting their money's worth out of their passes.
I think we were wearing Gramma out! With no baby we were hustling. With the Fast Passes we were flying around the park and hardly stopped to eat lunch.
(Oh, my wonderful sister in-law Karen had Lacey so that we could enjoy ourselves a little more, but we missed her!)

This is the first time Caitlyn didn't come completely UNGLUED from a character at Disneyland.
Smiles are so much better than tears!

We crossed over to CA Adventure for the last part of the day. As we were walking in we ran into some good friends, the Leinbach's. They lived by us in Riverside. (As a side note, Barrett was Scout Master with Mark's brother in Oregon- small world) It was so fun to see them. Chandler and Andrew were due two days apart. Parker and London are the same ages as the girls.
I love embrassing Brittney. The mom's wanted Brittney and Parker's picture together because when they were little (5 years) all Brittney ever talked about was PARKER. They even played soccer together when Barrett was the coach. You would have thought we asked them to hug or something. This was the closest we could get them. How cute is that!!!
Not only did my kids start the day with Space Mountain, they went on CA Screaming, and the Jumper. Caitlyn was in tears because of the monster on Matahorn and the snake on Indiana Jones. The rides don't scare her at all, it's the props!?!?!?! I am stumped by her half the time!
We went until we dropped, literally!! This is at 10:30 pm in line for NEMO - the "new" submarine ride. Andrew was already asleep and I thought the girls were going to go to sleep on the ground. Well, they can say that they have seen the ride and we don't ever have to wait in that line again!
What a great day. Super Thank You to Michelle's mom for getting some of us in FREE and for getting us a great deal on the other tickets! It's good to have friends who work at Disneyland!

we get our passes next month...come back and go with us!
Hey we were there last week! (I know - BIG surprise!) Let us know next time. We have passes and we'd love to meet the kids. At least you'll remember more about the fun day than the being sick part. Sorry about the weather- we think it's our fault. It only does that on days when we have cheap, non-shade tickets for the Dodger game. We'll be sure to let you know next time so you can go when we haven't jinxed the climate ;-)
The pictures, as always, are GREAT!
SO FUN!!! We bought year passes this year too...if you go back, let us know as well!! We are going to try and go in May when Sara and Jeff get their passes!! My kids LOVED all the "BIG KID" rides!! We love you guys tons and are glad you had a great time!!

Wish we could have been there. We LOVE D-land! Sounds like you had a fun week. It was great to see you. So fun to get all the cousins together.
That's our favorite place to go! It's great when the kids are old enough to get on all the rides! Our passes expired Feb, but we'll get them again for sure! Looks like you had a blast!
