What is a Quadrarama you might ask? Well Caitlyn had to do a book report on animals and had to make a Quadrarama and this is what we did it on. Of course she chose to do Guinea Pigs and it was great because we learned a lot about our furry little friends! Each 1/4 is either, Habitat, Diet, Dangers, and an Interesting Fact.
Of course we/she got an A!
Habitat
Guinea Pigs are born in the open, not in a burrow. In the wild they do not burrow or dig, they live in burrows, caves or tunnels that other animals have built.
As a pet, they live in cages with soft, absorbent bottoms. They also like to have little houses that they can feel safe in. Guinea Pigs do not live in cages with wires on the bottom because they have tender feet.
Guinea Pigs are diurnal which means they sleep at night and are awake during the day, just like humans.
