Back at Warm Springs

When we got back to Warm Springs the group was all in the pool. This place is so awesome. Howard Hughes was flying over the desert in his plane and he saw the patch of green. He discovered a warm spring was feeding the area. He built a home that people refer to as "The Mansion" but it is basically condemned now. The church owns the property and there are full time Missionaries that take care of the place. Mike Scofield's dad and step mom were the last missionaries that were there and they are responsible for getting the place back in order. There is a natural pool (that the Scofields cleaned up) that goes into a stream that then goes into the "pool".

There are MANY camp sites and my kids were all sad when we arrived Friday night that there were sooooo many people there. Each time we have gone we have basically been the only ones there. But, as you can see below, by around 2:00 pm most people have gone home! We had the place to ourselves again! We walked over to where you can enter the stream and have a little adventure! The water is nice and warm! Some places you walk, some are a little deeper than others and other places you can just float along! The whole time we kept thinking that we need to invite our families to this place!

I've never heard of this place. Is it close to you? Looks amazing!
